Eyebrow Henna — What It Is and Who It's For
Henna is a natural dye made from plant extracts that's applied to the eyebrow, coloring both the hairs and the skin underneath at the same time. This fills in the "gaps" in the brow and gives the look of a fuller eyebrow even if your hairs are sparse.

How long it lasts: 2–3 weeks on the skin, 3–4 weeks on the hairs. Eyebrow henna fades gradually — it doesn't leave a harsh line the way classic tinting does.
Eyebrow Lamination — The Newest Treatment
Eyebrow lamination is a technique that fixes the hairs in the desired position, lifting them and giving the look of full, "fluffy" brows. It's similar to a lash lift, but for eyebrows.
Ideal for:
- unruly hairs that grow in different directions
- clients who want the "soap brows" look without daily styling
- sparse eyebrows where the hairs point downward (lamination lifts them)
Duration: 6–8 weeks. It's often combined with tinting or henna for maximum effect.
Brow Lift — Lamination + Keratin Care
A brow lift is eyebrow lamination with an added keratin treatment that nourishes the hair and makes it shinier. The effect is the same as with lamination, but the brows are softer after the treatment and look healthier.
In Sarajevo, a brow lift is most often done together with brow tinting — a combined treatment that gives you 6–8 weeks of care in one visit.
Classic Tweezing — Tweezers or Wax
Traditional methods are still the most popular, thanks to their low price and speed.
- Tweezing is more precise — great for fine corrections and thin brows

Does Henna Damage Eyebrow Hairs
Henna doesn't damage the hairs — on the contrary, the plant extracts nourish them. The difference compared to synthetic dye: henna won't "wash out" suddenly, it fades gradually instead.
The only exception: if you have sensitive skin or a known allergy to PPD (paraphenylenediamine) or plant-based ingredients, do a patch test 24h before the treatment. At Damen Salon, we always offer a patch test before your first treatment.
