Prom night prep is short and intense — unlike a wedding, you usually only have a week or two, and the budget is often split with friends. This guide gives you a clear schedule for prom night: what to book when, with prices, so you're camera-ready without last-minute panic.

Why not do it all in the last 2 days
Prom is one night, but skin and brows need a few days to "settle":
- Facial cleansing can leave slight redness for a few hours — don't do it the night before for photos.
- Henna eyebrows look more intense on day one and even out over 24–48h — book it 7–10 days ahead, not the day before.
- Lash lift needs a few hours to set — better 4–6 days before than the same day as makeup.
- Nails and gel polish don't need extra settling time, so they go in the last 1–2 days to stay perfectly fresh.
Lash lift for prom — a natural look without extensions
For prom night, most girls choose a lash lift — it lifts natural lashes without adding artificial strands, looks natural in close-up photos, and lasts 6–8 weeks, so no touch-up is needed right before the night. For a more dramatic look, lash extensions are an alternative, with a fill 2–3 days ahead so the strands are fresh.
What NOT to do in the last 2 days before prom
- Don't try any treatment for the first time (henna, a new facial) — if your skin reacts unexpectedly, there's no time to fix it. Test it at least a week ahead.
- Don't change your brow shape at the last minute — tweezing the day before can leave redness.
- Don't do aggressive facial treatments (peeling, microneedling) right before — skin needs a few days to calm down.
Group booking with friends
The easiest option is to book back-to-back appointments the same day for the whole group (lash lift, manicure, pedicure) — so you're all ready together with no waiting around. Book online for individual appointments or send an inquiry for a group schedule.
All the treatments in this schedule are done at Damen Beauty Salon in Velešići (Velešići 11, Sarajevo). See the full list of services or send a makeup inquiry →
